Type and Habit:  Evergreen fern with a vase shape.
Average Height: Up to 90cm x 90cm
Soil: A well drained soil with plenty of compost, can grow on rocks or in trees.
Aspect:  Shade to part shade or morning sun in a sheltered area.
Foliage:  Glossy, bright apple green fronds are broad and up 90cm in length with a prominent black midrib and arranged in a rosette. The leaves are more rounded and shorter than the commonly used Birds Nest Fern. Remove spent fronds.
Flowers:  N/A
Uses: Shaded gardens, pots, rainforest/ tropical gardens, indoor plant in a high indirect light area. This variety is a dwarf form of Birds Nest Fern and can be used in smaller areas, in pots or in massed plantings. It is an excellent choice for use in difficult areas under trees where root competition is a problem.
Features: Neat dwarf size. Beautiful foliage form and texture, hardy and trouble free.
