Cordyline 'Red Fountain' - Assorted Sizes
Cordyline red Sensation is tough hardy and not thirsty, it's a good-looker and it doesn't attract any major pests or diseases.
Type and Habit: Dwarf, clump forming form of Cordyline species. Average Height: To 1 metre. Soil: Adaptable to most well drained soils but prefers some organic matter added and a light fertilise in spring. Mulch well. Aspect: Full sun to part shade. Foliage: The slender and almost grass-like leaves are in rich ruby and burgundy colours up to 80 cm long and arching out in a cascading form. Flowers: Slender, upright flower stems form during late spring and summer bearing small pale mauve star shaped flowers with a light fragrance. Uses: Great in tubs massed as a ground cover the foliage is soft and not messy so it’s good around pools. Features: It’s tough hardy and not thirsty – it’s a good-looker and it doesn’t attract any major pests or diseases. The foliage colour is brilliant and looks great as a contrast especially against lime and silver foliage plants.
