Type and Habit: Small, evergreen, multi stemmed palm
Average Height: Up to 2 – 3m
Soil: Well drained, moist soil high in organic matter. Lower water requirements in winter.
Aspect: Shade to semi shade outdoors (will take some sun when older) in a frost free environment or indoors in a high indirect light situation.
Foliage: Fine, dark green leaflets and with dark green stems.
Flowers: Persistent, hot orange flower stems and black fruit.
Uses: Normally used as an indoor plant
Features: Tall, elegant plant, easy to care for and trouble free.
